Common questions
What does a real 80°C rating mean?
It means the fixture is tested to keep operating at that ambient air temperature continuously — not the surface temperature for a few minutes near a heat source. Why do some "high temperature" fixtures fail early near a furnace?
Several fixtures marketed as "high temperature" are only tested to roughly 60-65°C ambient. Installed near real industrial heat sources, the LEDs and driver run hotter than rated, which shortens component life well before the advertised lifespan. Check the printed ambient rating on the spec sheet before you buy.
Which fixture fits my mounting height?
HB-A scales to a four-module, 600 W configuration for the highest ceilings. HB-D is a compact round module for mid-height bays. UFO-I suits standard high-bay mounting with field-adjustable wattage and CCT. Send us your ceiling height and target light level and we'll match the fixture.
Do these fixtures carry hazardous-location certification?
No — the High Temperature line is rated for high-ambient industrial spaces, not Class I/II hazardous locations. If your zone is also gas- or dust-classified, see our hazardous lighting categories instead.
