Product Description
The L Series Drop Light is a portable explosion-proof LED hand lamp designed for inspection, maintenance, and short-term work in hazardous locations. Housing is copper-free aluminum, the lens is glass, and the cage guard protects the bulb against impact while the unit is in use or being moved between work areas.
The fixture is listed under UL 844 for Class I Division 1 Groups B, C, D; Class II Division 1 Groups F, G; Class II Division 2 Groups F, G; and Class III environments. Marine listing is UL 1598A, ingress protection is IP 67, and the operating temperature range is -40 °C to +60 °C.
Typical applications include oil and gas (refining, transportation, storage, LNG, mining), chemical production and paint facilities, ocean and marine vessels and aerospace clean rooms, metal smelting and foundries, food and alcohol production, and any high-humidity, high-dust, high-temperature, or vapor location where a portable inspection lamp is required.
